Meet Heather

I’m Heather McKendry

Guide, facilitator, and fellow wanderer

Heather created Saunterly from personal experience, time spent walking slowly in nature. She believes that meaningful connection often begins when we slow down enough to notice what’s around us — and within us.

Through guided experiences in nature, she creates space for reflection, conversation, emotional presence, and reconnection with the natural world.

Her approach is gentle, grounded, and rooted in the idea that there is no destination to reach here — only an invitation to walk a little more slowly together.

Whether in one-on-one or group saunterings, Heather hopes each experience offers a sense of calm, openness, and belonging.

What guides this work

Presence

Connection

Encouraging honest connection with ourselves, others, and the natural world.

Reflection

Allowing room for thoughts, emotions, and quiet insight to emerge naturally.

There’s wisdom in moving slowly enough to notice.
